Querida
Sweet, shy Querida, a senior German ShepardX, was left behind at a gas station in miserable condition. She looks and feels much better now but the fear she once knew is still in her pretty eyes. She needs a special someone who can promise a gentle hand. A quiet household would be best and she can be alone for long periods without any anxiety. She is quiet as a mouse. Her skin can get flaky so a medicated bath about once a month will keep her looking lovely. She is in good shape and takes no medications. She is naughty about one thing...she will sneak food. Given the shape she was in when we found her, you can hardly blame her. Do you have a quiet corner for a sweet girl?
Millie
Meet Millie!!
This absolute doll is loved and adored by everyone that she meets! She is polite, gentle, attentive and loving. She is quiet and well-behaved. Millie is great with dogs, cats, and kids. She loves her walks and to socialize and play with other dogs. Millie is also a lap dog-she loves to cuddle in your lap and snooze away!
We are not sure of her exact mix but we think it is Dachshund/Chihuahua. She does not have typical Chihuahua characteristics as she is pretty mellow and not at all yappy. To be totally frank, we believe that Millie is one of the absolute easiest and nicest dogs that we have ever had in our rescue group.
Millie’s past is horrific. She was dumped on the side of the road with a litter of puppies. She has clearly been bred many times. A good Samaritan found Millie and brought her to the local shelter. Her puppies were snatched up immediately and Millie was not. One at a Time Rescue took her in the nick of time and we are dedicated to finding this dog the best home. We would prefer a home without young children only because she is small and sometimes children are too rough.
Millie is spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on shots, and housebroken. We believe her to be between 4-6 years old. She weighs about 15 pounds. Give Jen a call at 415-519-3250 if you are interested in this special lady!
