Cat and the Pups!!

Cat and the puppies came to us from Oakland Animal Control. This adorable group was confiscated from a very neglectful home in the east bay. Cat was found nearly starved underneath the back porch with all 5 of her pups. Cat was so terrified that she wouldn't let anybody pat her or get close. Pooches Playtime in S.F. fostered this group and got them socialized with other dogs and people. The rest is history! They all got incredible homes! In addition, the pups and mom get together for reunions which is so much fun. Cat is completely changed--the most social dog of the bunch!!

Pony

Pony was beat over the head with a steal pipe when she was just two-months old. Animal Control Officers were called, but were unable to catch the abuser. We met this sweet little pup when she was still bandaged up with a pain patch attached to her side. Even through all this trauma, she remained sweet and beautiful. Eventually this little trooper was adopted out to a wonderful woman and her son and continues to thrive in a loving home!!

Puppy

This adorable girl was dropped off at an East Bay shelter with 6 siblings. Our best guess is that she is a Lab/Border Collie mix. She was extremely scared and too shy to go up for adoption. She was put in a great foster home and eventually found her new home in Napa with a wonderful family. Her new brother, Bo has become her best playmate. We wish her the best in her new awesome home in the beautiful Napa Valley!!

Zaanti

This adorable girl was dropped off at an East Bay shelter with 6 siblings. Our best guess is that she is a Lab/Border Collie mix. She, like her sister was too shy to put up for adoption. Soon, we found a wonderful woman living in S.F. that fell in love with this little girl. Now, her life is great! She has lots of doggie friends and enjoys long walks with her mom.

Russet

Russet is the sweetest little boy. He is about 11 pounds, very petite and adorable. His mother was a chihuahua and his dad is unknown. He looks like he could be mixed with Italian Greyhound. We believe that he will be about 20 pounds when he is full grown. This little guy is shy but coming out of his shell everyday. He is gentle and loving by nature. He likes other dogs, is very quiet, and not nippy at all! If you would like to meet him, fill out an application first and then call Jen @ 415-519-3250.

Tater

Tater is super sweet just like her brother. She is beautiful and gentle. See the description above for Russet!!!

Riley

This is quite possibly the most adorable dog ever known to man! She looks like a puppy but is actually full grown and we think about 1 1/2 years old. She only weighs 24 pounds but is built like a little tank! Riley is a bubbly girl and loves everyone including children. Update: Riley was adopted to an awesome couple in S.F.. She has a great life froliking on Crissy Field and snuggling up with her new BFF (a cat) in bed at night!!

Mary-Belle

Mary-Belle is a darling little girl about 8 years old and 13 pounds. She looks much older than her years because of the poor care she has received up until now. She was surrendered at an east bay shelter after being bred a countless number of times. Her teeth are all the way ground down from chewing on something (probably due to boredom of living in a backyard.) She was also covered in fleas and ticks. Mary-Belle is a very quiet, loving dog. She would love to live in a mellow environment with someone who will spoil her in every way (she deserves it!) She is an easy dog--housebroken, mellow and loving. If you would like to meet her, fill out the application at www.oneatatimerescue.org.

Scout

Scout is an adorable, sweet boy! To be honest, we are not sure what exactly he is a mix of, but we think his body looks very Vizsla/Hound-like or even like a tiny Lab. His face looks like a Pit mix but his body is very, very slight and he is petite!!.He is 1.5 years old and only weighs about 29 pounds. He is very gentle and quiet. Scout was surrendered at an east bay shelter and was very, very scared. He is slowly coming out of his shell but is still very shy and afraid of new situations. He likes other dogs and would enjoy living with another canine companion. We think he would probably get along with a cat (but we don't have one to test him.) Scout would love an adult household with people who can continue socializing him. We believe that eventually he will love dog parks and to go on long hikes. He has not acted aggressive with children but is afraid of loud noises and rough handling. Please fill out an application at www.oneatatimerescue.org if you are interested in meeting him!!

Manny

What a little loverboy this dog is!! Only about 7 pounds but just wants to slober all over you with kisses! He even wanted to love all over my toddler (rare for a little dog!) Manny is about 4 years old but still loves to play, play, play with the other dogs. He would be great with pretty much everyone--really good with kids. Can't say enough good things about him...must meet this great dog!! Fill out an application at www.oneatatimerescue.org if you are interested!
